Zelma Koger was born June 1, 1921 and departed this life Friday, March 2, 2018 reaching the age of 96 years. She was the daughter of the late Luther Finley and Nonnie Zelma (Weaver) Roberts.

She is survived by: one son, Jerry Koger of Columbus, NC; one daughter, Joan Yates of Monticello; 4 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Estil Koger; one brother, Bowlin Roberts; two sisters, Elzie Ramsey and Neva Roberts; and one grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 8, 2018 between 10 am – 11:30 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018 at 11:30 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel.
