Wolford Jones was born February 11, 1937, and departed this life Thursday, July 29, 2021, reaching the age of 84 years. He was the son of the late Luther and Myrtle (Koger) Jones.

He is survived by: 3 daughters, Daisey Feltner, Gleta (Rocky) Jones, and Pansy Jones; 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by:  5 siblings, Golman Jones, Zella Mendoza, Clova Koger, Bertha Worley, and Curly Matthews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Luther and Myrtle Jones, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Rachel (Vaughn) Gregory Jones; four children, Rex Gregory, John Gregory, Cleta Vaughn and Ella Mae Gregory; four siblings, Dillman Jones, Harvey Jones, Gurtie Phillips, and Gaytha Roysden.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 31, 2021, between 5 pm – 8 pm at Cedar Grove Baptist Church.  Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 1, 2021, at 11 am at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Bud Gregory Cemetery.
