Wilma Reynolds Parmley, of Monticello, KY, age 71 passed away Sunday morning, February 15, 2015 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. She was born June 14, 1943 in Monticello, KY.


She is preceded in death by her parents: Narvel Allen Reynolds and Dosha (Morrow) Reynolds. She is also preceded in death by her siblings: Pearlie Logston, Owen Reynolds, Winnie Shepherd, Velma Smith, Lester "Tom" Reynolds, and twin brother Willis Reynolds. Preceding her in death is one grandchild, Alexis Victoria Foust.


She is survived by her husband of 51 years: Andrew Parmley of Monticello, KY; three sons: Stewart (Lynda) Parmley of Knoxville, TN, Jeff (Peggy)Parmley of Monticello, KY and Ross (Heather) Parmley of Monticello, KY; three daughters: Winona Griggs (Lynn) of Monticello, KY, Hazel Parmley of Monticello, KY and Caitlin Parmley of Monticello, KY. She is survived by three brothers: Glenn (Janet) Reynolds of Rushville,IN, Lucian Reynolds of Nancy, KY and Don (Sue) Reynolds of Monticello, KY and two sisters: Ina Ruth Gosney of Shelbyville,IN and Radie Pendleton of Monticello, KY.


She is survived by grandchildren: Emily (Jamie) Conley, Jacob (Stevie) Parmley, Aaron Parmley, Chelsea Parmley, Isaiah Parmley, Blake Parmley, Kyra Parmley, Madison Griggs, Taylor Griggs, Mylee Parmley, Nevada Dobbs, and Wilson Dobbs; Four great -grandchildren. Step-grandchildren: Donnie Welch, Carrie Welch, Gina Conley, and Faith Crabtree. She had a host of other friends and relatives.


The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 21, 2015 after 6pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Sunday, February 22, 2015 at 2pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Parnell Methodist Church Cemetery.
