Willie Burton "Dank" Piercy was born December 17, 1942 and departed this life Sunday, December 10, 2017 reaching the age of 74 years. He was the son of the late Raymond Taft & Rosie May (Denney) Piercy.

He married Allene Carrender and to this union 4 children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Allene Piercy, 2 sons, Hank & Willie Piercy; 1 daughter, Julie Piercy; 3 grandchildren, Ethan, Ashlee, & Abigail Piercy; and 2 sisters, Sally Brummett & Lilly Brown; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Raymond & Rosie Piercy, he was preceded in death by: 1 son, Raymond Piercy; 6 brothers, Jack, Jep, John, Billy, Bobby, & Melton Piercy; and 1 sister, Betty Jean Piercy.

The family will recieve friends on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 11am in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Upchurch Cemetery.
