Willie "Mike" Michael Mitchell was born May 3, 1953, and departed this life Tuesday, November 25, 2025, reaching the age of 72 years. He was the son of (the late) Willie (Jr.) and Mary Lillian (Edwards) Mitchell.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy (Jones) Mitchell; 3 daughters, Amanda (Jason) Stephens, Sarah Mitchell, and Kellie (Derrick) Pyles; 3 grandchildren, Mahala, Charlie Michael, and Amelia Pyles; 1 brother, Dennis (Connie) Mitchell; special friend of the family, Suzy Pitman; and a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Roweann Hooks.

Mike was the former pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was an active member of the Clear Fork Baptist Church in Clinton County. He loved his daughters, grandchildren, and his wife of 51 years dearly.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place, and a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM until the service at 5:00 PM Central Time at Clear Fork Baptist Church in Clinton County with Pastor Bob Sawyer officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
