Willie Huffaker, age 83, was born April 20, 1932 in Monticello, KY; she was one of seven children born to Olie and Hazel (Guffey) Rednour. She departed this life at the Wayne County Hospital on Wednesday, September 23, 2015.

She married John Will Huffaker on March 29, 1958; to this union one son was born. She is survived by her son, Randy Huffaker (Sheila); two grandchildren, Brandi Huffaker and Rachel Chaplin (Lonnie); and six great grandchildren, Tanner Floyd, Tye Thompson, Jackson Chaplin, Mason Chaplin, Katie Chaplin and Gracie Chaplin. She is also survived by one brother, Robbie Kay Rednour; along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, Olie and Hazel Rednour, she was also preceded in death by; her husband, John Huffaker; and infant brother, Billy Rednour; and four sisters, Betty Bridgeman, Josephine Dalton, Marie Askins, and Bonnie Atkinson.

Willie accepted Christ as her Savior and was a faithful member of Central Union Separate Church for many years.

She set an example for us by being a kind, sweet, loving wife, mother, granny and friend to all who met her.

We will have an empty place in our lives, but we rejoice in knowing she is with Poppa John and Jesus in heaven.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 25, 2015 after 10 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 25, 2015 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Taylor's Grove Cemetery.
