William "Bill" Ray Brown was born April 06, 1940, and departed this life Friday, December 29, 2023, reaching the age of 83 years. He was the son of (the late) Charlie and Nina (Brown) Sullivan.

He married Bonnie Ruth Weston and to this union, 6 children were born.

He is survived by 1 son, William Brown, Jr.; 3 daughters, Linda Perkins, Rita Perkins, and Anna Brown; 14 grandchildren, Jonathan Bell, Jessica Hammond, Melissa Stevens, Terry Brown, Billie Brown, Shatrina Brown, Jonathan Brown, Rodney Brown, Miranda Gregory, Susan Dick, Frances Speidel, Brianna Brown, Jimmy Perkins, and Jerry Perkins; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and special niece, Barbara Brown; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Ruth Brown; 2 daughters, Vickie Bell, and Brenda Mason; 2 grandchildren, Jerry Brown, and Brooklyn Perkins; 4 brothers, Sherril Brown, Charlie "Doodle" Brown, Bobby Joe Sullivan, and Chester Sullivan; and 3 sisters, Allie Decker, Betty Kennedy, and Myrtle Stringer.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at 1 pm at the Elk Spring Cemetery shelter house with burial to follow.
