William Clyde "Pete" Neal was born January 1, 1932 and departed this life Sunday, March 4, 2012 reaching the age of 80. He was the son of the late Fount and Della (Frost) Neal.

He was united in marriage to Lexie Faye Dishman and to this union 4 children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Lexie Faye Neal; 1 son, Marty (Jody) Neal; 3 daughters, Teresa (Gerald) Dishman, Becky Hicks; Anneda (Andy) Nettleton; 10 grandchildren, Jeremy and Benjamin Dishman, Marty Neal, II, Jacob Neal, Ruby Faye Nicole Gossett, Clarissa, Phillip Samuel, and Cheyenne Hicks, Jeremiah and Jasmine Nettleton; and 2 great-grandchildren, Carol and Jenny Gossett. He is also survived by: 8 brothers, Dean, Ramie, Eddie, Jody, Kenny, Billy, Russell, and David Neal; and 1 sister, Peggy Shelton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Fount and Della Neal, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Danny Neal; 2 sisters, Leta Mae Todd and Rosalie Neal.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 12 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Harvey Atkinson officiating. Burial will be in Taylor's Grove Cemetery.
