Obituary
William Earl McGuire was born December 17, 1939 and departed this life June 28, 2017 reaching the age of 77 years. He was the son of the late Powers and Lessie (Boston) McGuire.
He married Shirley Stringer and to this union four sons were born.
He is survived by: his wife, Shirley McGuire; three sons, Ricky, Marty, and Tracy McGuire; and 3 grandchildren. He is also survived by: one brother, Vasco McGuire; and three sisters, Audrey Isner, Velma Dodson, and Helen Coomer; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Powers and Lessie McGuire, he was preceded in death by: one son, Phillip McGuire; two brothers, Willie and Norman McGuire; and two sisters, Mary Russell and Elsie Mains.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 30, 2017 between 5 – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Piney Woods Mission Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to:
