William Hayden Martin was born July 5, 1945 and departed this life Sunday, December 30, 2012 reaching the age of 67. He was the son of the late Sheard Martin and Eva Jane Coffey.

He is survived by: one daughter, Jill (Roger) Upchurch; and 2 grandchildren, Chelsey and Savannah. He is also survived by: 4 sisters, Joyce Anderson, Lyla Crabtree, Anna Miller, and Winona Humble; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

Hayden served his country faithfully in the Army National Guard from February 1963 to November 1994.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 1st, 2013 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home and Wednesday, January 2nd at Roger's Grove Baptist Church from 8 am until the service time. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 1 pm at the Roger's Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Bell and Bro. Chris Blevins officiating. Burial will be in Dodson Cemetery.
