William Nelson Lee was born September 9, 1936, and departed this life Sunday, February 18, 2024, reaching the age of 87 years. He was the son of the late Henry Porter and Willie Maxie (Shupman) Lee.

He is survived by: his wife, Margaret Lee; one son, Roger Lee; one daughter, Rhonda Angel; two sisters, Betty Walcott and Florence Sexton; two grandchildren, Katarra Dobbs (Derik) and Dustin Angel (Cheley); and three great grandchildren, Caden, Chloe, and Willow Angel; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Henry and Willie Lee, he was preceded in death by: two brothers, Gaines and Robert "Bob" Lee; and two sisters, Ora "Minnie" Lee and Nancy Pauline Coffey.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 11, 2024, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
