Obituary

William Wade Kolton Barnes, known as "Kolton" was born September 5th 1995 and departed this life on October 31st 2020.  Kolton is proceeded in death by his two grandfathers, Norman Wade "Wayne" Bell and William Arvil Barnes. Kolton is survived by his father: William Adrian Barnes, his mother and step father: Crystal Bell Morales- and Luis Ramirez, His Brothers: Zackary Barnes - wife Anessa, and Luis Jr. Ramirez - wife Kimberly; His sisters: Kira Barnes Simpson - husband Adam, and Crystal Amador Morales, his nephews: Lucas Barnes, Malachi Barnes, Gabriel Barnes, Levi Simpson, Elijah Simpson, Hunter Ramirez, Gunner Ramirez and one niece: Chevelle Simpson and another niece on the way, his grandmothers: Rosie Bell and Janet Barnes. He is also survived by cousins whom he thought of as siblings: Savannah Sumner, Sylvia Sumner, Santana Sumner, Scarlett Sumner, Sophie Sumner, Tre Bennett and Christian Vaughn; as well as many other family members and friends who all loved Kolton.

During his 25 years of life, he made an impact on everyone he met that will never be forgotten and always be cherished. Kolton had a huge selfless heart and was always the one to make you laugh on a bad day. He loved his family and friends dearly, as they did him. He was always ready to have a good time, from deer hunting and coon hunting with his brothers to going to family gatherings, and of course just hanging out with his buddies. He was the life of the party no matter where he was. Kolton was optimistic about life and always had big dreams and little worries. His laugh and smile was contagious and is something we will never forget.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 5, 2020 between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, November 6, 2020 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Bell-Hill Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
