William "Bubby" Howard Poore was born July 28, 1959 and departed this life Wednesday, July 1, 2020 reaching the age of 60 years. He was the son of the late Howard and Thelma (Hollars) Poore.

He married Cynthia Ballenger and to this union two children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Cynthia Poore; two sisters, Irene Dishman and Martha Chaplin; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Howard and Thelma Poore, he was preceded in death by: two children, Justin Poore and Senja Poore; and one brother, Eddie Poore.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 6, 2020 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, July 6, 2020 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: William "Bubby" Poore Memorial Fund, c/o Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.
