Obituary
William H. "Bill" Gray was born July 31st, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana and departed this life Tuesday, May 6th, 2003, reaching the age of 69 years. He was the son of the late Carl Gray and Dolly Bowers Gray.
He is survived by his wife-Mildred Smith Gray and two sons-Terry Lair of Monticello, KY and Forrest Lair of Indianapolis, IN and one daughter-Betty Sullivan of Indianapolis, IN. He is survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He is also survived by three brothers-Russell "Rusty" Gray and Gene Gray, both of Terre Haute, IN and Edward Gray of Dover, Delaware and one sister-Rosemary Hinest of Florida, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother-Joe Gray.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, relative and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 5 PM on Friday, May 9th, 2003 in the chapel.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Saturday, May 10th at 1 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Interment: Burial will be in the Barnett Cemetery.
