William Ellis Godsey was born January 23, 1988 and departed this life Tuesday, December 15, 2020 reaching the age of 32 years. He was the son of William Jerry and Pamela Kaye (Roberts) Godsey.

He is survived by: ­1 son, Daniel Kaye Godsey; 1 daughter, Zoe Nicole Godsey; his parents, William Jerry and Pamela Kaye (Roberts) Godsey; 1 sister, Ashley Nicole Acrey; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was a loving father, son, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 18, 2020 after 11 am in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, December 18, 2020 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to: William Ellis Godsey Memorial Fund, c/o Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home
