William C. "Dank" Upchurch was born April 27, 1946 and departed this life Friday, January 28, 2011 reaching the age of 64. He was the son of the late Oliver and Gracetta (Dishman) Upchurch.

He is survived by: 1 brother, Junior Upchurch of Monticello, KY; 3 sisters, Lillian Slagle of Monticello, KY, Jewell (Orby) Neal of New Castle, IN, and Christine (Don) Hutchison of Monticello, KY; special friend, Ledith Dishman; many nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Oliver and Gracetta Upchurch, he was preceded in death by: 2 brothers, Guy and Herschell Upchurch; and 1 sister, Eula Ford.

He was a born again Christian and was planning on becoming a member of the Taylor's Grove Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 30, 2011 from 5 – 9 pm and again on Monday, January 31 from 7:30 – 9 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Visitation will then be at Taylor's Grove Church on Monday from 10 am until 1 pm. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 31, 2011 at 1 pm at the Taylor's Grove Church with Bro. Earnest Mann and Bro. Harvey Atkins officiating. Burial will be in Taylor's Grove Cemetery.
