Obituary
William "Bill" Chesney was born June 27, 1941 and departed this life May 19, 2008 reaching the age of 66 years. He was the son of the late C. K. and Mildred Lee (Shearer) Chesney.
He married Lela Perdue and to this union three children were born.
He is survived by: his wife- Lela Chesney of Cadiz, KY, one son- Gregory Chesney of apex, NC, two daughters- Pansy Chesney of Indianapolis, IN and Penny Butler of Pendleton, IN, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by: three brothers- Robert Chesney of Monticello, KY, Lewis Chesney of Thomasville, NC, and David Chesney of Newport, NC; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by: his parents- C. K. and Mildred Chesney.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Friday, May 23rd between 1 - 1:45 pm funeral home chapel
Funeral Service: Friday, May 23rd at 2 pm - Elk Spring Cemetery Shelter Service
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
