William Patrick "Bill" Castle was born March 23, 1946 and departed this life Wednesday, March 20, 2013 reaching the age of 66. He was the son of Evalee (Richardson) Castle and the late Pat Castle.

He was united in marriage to Ruth Pyles and to this union 2 children were born.

He is survived by: 2 daughters, Julie Gossage and Jennifer Shelton; 5 grandchildren, Laine, Ragan, and Brody Shelton, Brittani and Bryce Gossage. He is also survived by: His mother, Evalee Castle; and 4 sisters, Patricia Smith, Joan Kindrick, Peggy Morrisey, and Joy Fairchild; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Pat Castle.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 12 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Lange officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
