William Boston, known as Bill or Pop, was born April 12, 1932 and departed this life Friday, December 5, 20014 reaching the age of 82 years. He was the son of the late John L. Boston and Mamie Alexander.

He is survived by: two sons, Billy Joe and Harry James Boston; one daughter, Mary Joyce Boston; three grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by: one brother, John Lewis Boston, Jr.; and four sisters, Dorothy Edna Collins, Lela Irene Key, Mary Jane Keith, and Susie Mae Jones; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 7, 204 after 4pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 8, 2014 at 10 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
