William "Bill" Crabtree was born April 19, 1927 and departed this life Saturday, December 18, 2010 reaching the age of 83. He was the son of the late Joe and Beulah (Sexton) Crabtree.

He was united in marriage to Ona Belle Marcum and to this union 1 child was born.

He is survived by: Anna "Jane" Coffey of Monticello, KY; 2 grandchildren, David and Garrett Coffey. He is also survived by: 4 brothers, Minford, Joe Lewis, Arnold, and Robert Crabtree' and 3 sisters, Betty Bell, Dorothy Coffey, and Jean Carbone; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Joe and Beulah Crabtree, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Ona Belle Crabtree; and 2 brothers, Wendall and Earl Crabtree.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 20, 2010 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 1 pm at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Henry Stringer officiating. Burial will be in New Sandusky Cemetery.
