William Kay Bertram, age 78 of Monticello, KY, passed away Friday, July 24, 2020 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born November 3, 1941 in Monticello, KY; the son of the late Vernon and Lucy (Catron) Bertram.

He is survived by: 2 brothers, Glen Bertram of Monticello and Bruce Bertram of McDonough, GA; 1 sister, Phyllis Wise of Campbellsville; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Jerry Bertram.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 after 11:30 am in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  (Military honors will be performed by our local DAV Chapter 105.)

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to: St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
