Willard Atkinson was born August 5, 1935 and departed this life Monday, May 31, 2010, having reached the age of 74 years. He was the son of the late Robert and Mary Jane "Waters" Atkinson.

He is survived by:

3 sons.....Danny, Tim, and Mike Atkinson, all of Monticello, KY.
3 daughters.....Linda Chaplin (Clay), Diana Clark (David), and Michelle Atkinson, all of Monticello, KY.
2 brothers.....Donnie and Lyle Atkinson.
4 sisters.....Ina Denney, Wilma Carter, Betty Carter, and Shirley Asberry.
8 grandchildren.....Derek Chaplin, Mandy Chaplin, Josh Foster, Andrea Jones, Dustin Atkinson, Robert Cain Atkinson, MaKenzie Atkinson, and Gabriella Atkinson.
7 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by:

His parents.....Robert and Mary Jane Atkinson.
1 brother.....Ellis Lee Atkinson.
1 sister.....Lina Sue Atkinson.

He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, relative, and friend that will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation.....Tuesday, June 1, 2010 after 6pm at the funeral home.
Funeral.....Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Harvey Atkinson and Bro. Robert Lee Stinson officiating.
Burial will be in the Taylor's Grove Cemetery.
