Obituary
Wilford Lester Burke was born June 5, 1935 and departed this life Sunday, January 17, 2016 reaching the age of 80 years. He was the son of the late Lucian and Ethel (Kidd) Burke.
He is survived by: one daughter, Leslie Ann (Christopher) Stainbrook; five grandchildren, Natalie and Christopher Clements, Hilary Zeigler, Morgan and Kyle Campbell. He is also survived by: two brothers, James and Henry Burke; and five sisters, Hazel Jones, Emmalyn Jones, Athaleen West, Alma Dean Bishop, and Jeanette Donaldson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Lucian and Ethel Burke, he was preceded in death by: his wife, Phyllis Jo (Hill) Burke; two brothers, Sylvester and Warren Burke; and one sister, Doris Jean Burke.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 24, 2016 after 5pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 at 10am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the John Barr's Cemetery in Coopersville, KY.
