Wayne Crabtree was born December 28, 1955 and departed this life Saturday, April 24, 2021 at his home.  He was the son of the late Moses and Lucy (Meredith) Crabtree.

He is survived by:   his wife, Margaret (Gregory) Crabtree; his son, Phillip Crabtree; two daughters, Angela Gonzalez and Brittany Perez (Magdaleno); and five grandchildren, Christina Gonzalez, Selena Perez, Marley Perez, Isabella Carillo, and Gabriella Perez.  He is also survived by: three brothers, Stanley, Jerry, and Billy Crabtree; and two sisters, Lillie Catron and Anna Malone; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Moses and Lucy Crabtree, he was preceded in death by:  one grandchild, Alex Perez; one brother, Fred Crabtree; and two sisters, Barbara Ann Crabtree and Mayme Burnett.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 26, 2021 between 6 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in New Sandusky Cemetery.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation and upon recommendations from the Governor's Office for Funeral Homes, there will be some restrictions for service attendance. You are asked to please wear a mask or facial covering and observe the social distancing guidelines. No communal food or drinks are allowed at this time.
