Wanda Faye Matthews was born November 6, 1960, and departed this life Wednesday, July 30, 2025, reaching the age of 64 years. She was the daughter of the late Eagle Grimsley, Jr. and Hilda Lee (Melton) Huff.

She is survived by: her husband, Jerry Matthews; children, Lincoln Massengale (Janie), Monica Bruner (Junior); brother, William Brosman (Debbie); sister, Kathy (Richard) Duncan; and grandchildren, William Vrooman, Jr., Danny Caps and Andy Caps; special daughters, Angel Whittle, Betty Vaughn, Colleen Mayo; special sons, Jonathan Boling, and Daniel Shelton; and special granddaughter, Dianna Casada; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: brothers, Darrell Grimsley and Junior Grimsley; and one sister, Judy Harper.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 7, 2025, at 11 am at the Ingram Cemetery with burial to follow.
