Wanda Lee Edwards Lyons, passed away Tuesday, July 8, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. She was born at Sumpter, KY on June 14, 1942, the daughter of the late Shell and Ermie Edwards.

She married Bobby Lee Lyons, who survives.

She is survived by four children: Sandra (Rodney) Dunn, Georgetown,KY, Danny (Tammy) Lyons, Beverly (Scott) Vaughn, David (Lisa) Lyons, all of Monticello,KY. One infant son, Thomas Lee Lyons, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by two brothers and two sisters: John (Velda) Edwards, Bobby (Helen) Edwards, Phyllis (James) Cowan, all of Wayne County, Nancy (Michael) Perkins, London, KY. One sister, Dora Lee Edwards preceded her in death.

She is survived by six grandchildren: Shelley and Jessie Vaughn, Robert and Rebecca Lyons, Lucas and Zack Bowlin. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Friends may call on Thursday, July 10 after 5:30 p.m. at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11, at 10:00 a.m. at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Koger Ramsey officiating. Burial will be in the Old Sandusky Cemetery.
