Wanda Lair was born April 3, 1945, and departed this life Tuesday, June 25, 2024, reaching the age of 79 years. She was the daughter of the late Shellie and Wonzie (Harmon) Pruett.

She is survived by: one daughter, Marla Alley; two grandchildren, Thomas Alley (Amber) and Carolyn Coffey; seven great grandchildren, Alexis, Brianna, Haley, Ashton, Scarlet, Gabbi, and Kyler; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Ralph Lair; and two sisters, Allene Richardson (Arlie) and Emma Jean Richardson (Bille).

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 1, 2024, between 10:30 am – 11:30 am in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Monday, July 1, 2024, at 11:30 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
