Wanda Mae Hayes was born August 5, 1948 and departed this life Saturday, October 5, 2019 reaching the age of 71 years. She was the daughter of the late Oliver and Alice Daniels.

She is survived by: three sons, Tony (Lynn) Daniels, Ronnie (Joy) Douglas, and Jimmy (Christie) Douglas; three siblings, Woodrow Daniels, Dallas Daniels, and Norma Leathers; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Alice Daniels; one daughter, Tammy Jo Douglas; four siblings, Gary Daniels, Larry Daniels, Pearl Prince and Phyllis Garlen; and four grandchildren, Timothy Douglas, Jarriade Embry, Jeremy Daniels and Misty Douglas.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 11, 2019 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Friday, October 11, 2019 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Dishman Cemetery.
