Wanda Mae Dishman was born June 23, 1938, and into eternal rest on June 24, 2025, reaching the age of 87 years. She was the daughter of the late Edgar Lee and Edith Evelyn (Neal) Brewster.
She married William Clay Dishman who preceded her in death.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Tom Isner; a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmie and Nicki Dishman; grandchildren - Abigail Merlo, Amy (Chris) Isner, Jesse (Taylor) Yancey, Brian (Allison) Dishman, and Rebecca (Jerrod) Alley; great grandchildren - Jonathan Foster, Benjamin Hall, Madison Hall, Jacob Merlo, Gabriel Yancey, William Alley and Maecey Alley; siblings, Kenny Brewster, Lena Lewis and Gail Lester, and a special friend of 20 years, Clay Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Edith Brewster, her husband, William Dishman, siblings: Carl Brewster, Lyle (Pudge) Brewster, Elma Brown, June Roberts, Lana (Patty) Davis, and twin sister, Doris Faye Foster.
She was saved and was a member of Missouri Hollow Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 26, 2025, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 27, 2025, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
