Obituary
Walter Neal was born March 10, 1916 and departed this life October 18, 2004 reaching the age of 88 years. He was the son of George Marshall Neal and Margaret Walden Neal.
He was united in marriage to Bonnie Massengale and to this union six children were born.
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Neal; two sons, Michael Neal of Clarksville, TN and Roger Neal of Monticello, KY; three daughters, Helen Neal, Judy Hancock, and Martha Beaty all of Monticello, KY.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Melissa Tillman, Gary Hancock, Nikki Cishek, William Criswell, Josh Neal, Amy Neal, Billy Beaty, Eli Beaty, and Kirt Neal; and five great grandchildren, Xavier Tillman, Garrett Hancock, Layton Neal, Josie Williams, and Clay Criswell; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Margaret Neal; one son, Gary Lee Neal; five brothers, Lincoln, John, Alonzo, Fount, and Chester Neal; three sisters, Bessie Dalton, Dorothy Denney, and Roxie Massengale; and one great grandchild Kaden Neal.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Wednesday, October 20 after 5 PM
Funeral Service: Thursday, October 21 at 1 PM
Interment: Edwards Chapel Cemetery
