Wallace Anderson was born May 29, 1929 and departed this life Saturday, August 27, 2016 reaching the age of 87 years. He was the son of the late Lee and Susie (Steward) Anderson.

He married Mary Roysdon on May 8, 1946 and to this union three children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Mary Anderson; three children, Brenda Troxell (Luther), Danny Anderson (Shirley) and Donnie Anderson (Viola); 5 grandchildren, Jeremy and Jeff Troxell, Sherry Anderson, Heather Hicks, and Brian Anderson; 7 great grandchildren, Jordan, Julia, Willow, and Whitley Troxell, Sherilyn and Sheralee Warinner, and Alexis Anderson; and 1 great grandchild, Landon Troxell. He is also survived by: 2 brothers, Willis and Charles Anderson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Lee and Susie Anderson, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Leroy Anderson; and 1 sister, Wilma Alread.

Wallace's life revolved around singing at church, flea marketing and the 127 yard sale.


The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 1 pm at the Elk Spring Cemetery Shelter. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
