Voudie Bell was born May 3, 1913 and departed this life November 26 reaching the age of 90 years. She was the daughter of Elisha Spradlin and Rebecca Watson Spradlin.

She was united in marriage to Floyd Bell and to this union five children were born.

She is survived by three sons – Lester, Willis Ray, and Mitchell Bell all of Monticello; two daughters – Mary Bertram and Sue Gregory both of Monticello; five sisters – Uffie Hensley of IN, Wanda, Emmie Peak of Niceville, FL, Lula King of Port Charles, FL, and Eva Jewell Sharp of Monticello, KY; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren; along with a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her husband – Floyd, her parents – Elisha and Rebecca, three brothers – Jody, Clifford, and Reese Bell, three sisters – Artie, Lucy Smith, and Connie Cress.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.


Visitation: The family will receive friends Friday, November 28 between the hours of 5 - 9 PM
Funeral Service: Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 29 at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
