Obituary
VONNIE G. MCCLAIN was born April 1st, 1916 and departed this life Friday, September 22nd, 2006 reaching the age of 90 years. She was the daughter of the late Henry Gaston and Minnie Wilbert Gaston.
She was united in marriage to John Powell, Sr., who preceded her in death. She later married W. G. McClain who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons, John (Nancy) Powell of Somerset and Jimmie Powell of Monticello, KY; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister, Opal Young; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Visitation: Monday, September 25th between 10 am - 2 pm
Funeral Service: Monday, September 25th at 2 pm
Interment: Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
