Virginia Dishman was born April 13, 1968 and departed this life Thursday, January 20, 2022 reaching the age of 53 years. She was the daughter of Minnie Lee Jones and the late Donald Guffey.

She is survived by: her children, Derek Dishman and Ashley Dishman; one grandchild, Brooklyn Ford; her mother, Minnie Lee Jones; one sister, Betty West; aunts, Nettie and Georgia Stinson; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewayne "Dee" Dishman.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 between 11 am – 1 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Hicks Cemetery.
