Obituary
Virgil Lee Shelton was born December 17th, 1946 in Albany, KY and departed this life Tuesday, February 11th, 2003, reaching the age of 56 years. He was the son of Ernest Shelton and Tempie Denney Shelton
He was united in marriage to Martha Martin Shelton and to this union two children were born.
He is survived by his wife Martha, one daughter-Teresa Reynolds of Albany, KY and one son-Tracy Shelton of Monticello, KY. He is survived by five grandchildren.
He is also survived by his parents, two brothers-Keith and Dale Shelton, both of Monticello, KY and one sister-Karen Shelton of Somerset, KY, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
Visitation: The family will receive friends after 4 PM on Thursday, February 14th in the chapel.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Friday, February 14th at 10 AM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home.
Interment: Burial will be in the Shelton Cemetery in Clinton County, KY.
