Virgil "Mack" Kempton was born June 26, 1952 and departed this life Saturday, October 22, 2016 reaching the age of 64 years. He was the son of the late Mannon Hewell and Eva Marie (Marcum) Kempton.

He is survived by: life long partner, Rebecca Young; one son, Joshua Corbin; one daughter, Teresa Kempton-Dray; and one grandchild, Jaden Corbin. He is also survived by: three brothers, Donald, Harold, and Larry Kempton; and three sisters, Doris Smith, Joyce Guffey, and JoAnne Shelton; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Delmer Kempton.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 10 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
