Obituary
VIRGIL LAMONT "SONNY" DAFFRON, was born September 30, 1925 and departed this life December 27, 2004 reaching the age of 79 years. He was the son of Basil Duke Daffron and Birdie Moore Daffron.
He was united in marriage to Marcia Frances Kelsay on April 6, 1947 and to this union four children were born.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia Daffron; four children, Danny Moore Daffron, Annette Susan (Daffron) Tarter, Stephen Denton Daffron, and David Scott Daffron; one sister, Marjorie Dalton; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Basil and Birdie Daffron; his brother, Donald Moore; and his sister, Betty Jewell.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation: Wednesday, December 29 after 5 PM
Funeral Service: Thursday, December 30 at 2 PM
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
