Victoria Sue Ashby was born January 25, 1975, and departed this life Sunday, February 22, 2026, reaching the age of 51 years. She was the daughter of Victor Ashby and Sheila Helton.

She is survived by: her husband, Johnny Gunter; two daughters, Lorna Ashby and Laila Gunter; one son, Johnny Gunter, Jr.; two brothers, Charles Grimes (Charlotte) and Bobby Helton; one sister, Nina Combs (Donnie); her cats, Bella, Judas, and Maverick; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

Victoria was preceded in death by: her father, Victor Ashby; her mom and dad, Sheila and Bobby Lee Helton; one sister, Star Ashby; and fur baby, Tigs and many other loving pets.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 12, 2026, between 11 am - 1 pm in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 1 pm. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
