Vicki Lee Guffey Bell was born March 23, 1955, and entered into eternal rest on July 7, 2024. She is the daughter of Cecil and Stella Mae (Hicks) Guffey, who survive.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Boyce-Dale Bell; daughter and son-in-law, Shannon-Dale and Anthony Cowden; twin grandsons, Liam and Asher Cowden; her twin sister and brother-in-law, Nicki and Jimmie Dishman; nephew and his wife, Brian and Allison Dishman; niece and her husband, Rebecca and Jerrod Alley; great-nephew, William Alley; great-niece, Maecey Alley; as well as many other relatives and friends.

She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of the Gap Creek Baptist Church.

She was a 1973 graduate of Wayne County High School completing a certification from the Wayne County Vocational School.

She retired from state government after 35 years, last working at the Transportation Department/Engineers Office in Georgetown, Kentucky, where she lived.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 11, 2024 between 1 pm – 4 pm in the chapel of the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 4 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel.
