Obituary
Venita Claywell Lawson was born on October 16, 1935 and departed this life on Friday, May 23, 2014 having reached the age of 78 years. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Nina (Dicken) Claywell.
She is survived by: 1 daughter, Beverly Parsons of Monticello; 5 brothers, Eddie Claywell of Burkesville, KY, Dale Claywell of Louisville, KY, Daryl Claywell of Cambellsville, KY, Don and David Claywell of Albany, KY; 5 sisters, Mary Claywell of Burksville, Marge Fisher of Clarksville, IN, Jean Claywell of Louisville, KY, Rhonda Schafer of Clay City, IN, and Lynn Claywell of Clarksville, IN. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 5 great great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Louis Edwin Lawson and 2 sons, Jeffrey Lawson and Billy Wayne Feuston.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 27th, from 6-9 pm in the funeral home chapel. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 28th at 1 pm, in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
