Vena Bertram Morgan was born February 23, 1912 in the Mt. Pisgah community and departed this life Wednesday, June 18, 2008 reaching the age of 96 years. She was the daughter of the late Sterlie and Lillian (Kennedy) Bertram.

She married Ray Morgan and to this union three children were born.

She is survived by: 1 son- Phillip Morgan of Monticello, KY, 1 daughter- Marian Morgan of Monticello, KY, 2 grandsons- Mark Cooper of Somerset, KY and Adam Morgan of Columbus, OH, and one great grandson- Tyler Morgan of Columbus, OH. She is also survived by: 1 brother- Ansel Bertram of DeLand, FL, and 2 sisters- Cristell Work of Indianapolis, IN and Gladys Twyford of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband- Ray, daughter- Ann Jaclyn, 4 brothers- Dennis, Lyle, Carl, and Paul Bertram, and 4 sisters- Mabell Powell, Doris Gregory, Mollie Jewell Corder, and Theresa Bertram.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation: Friday, June 20th after 5 pm
Funeral Service: Saturday, June 21st at 10 am
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
