Veila "Bea" Parmley was born on April 4, 1938, and departed this life on Sunday, August 3, 2025, reaching the age of 87 years.  She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Dorothy Parmley.

She married the late George Vester Stephenson and to this union 4 children were born.

She is survived by 3 daughters; Mary Ann Stephenson Trejo (Jose), Sue Stephenson Newell (Larry), Violet Stephenson Whitehead (John), 7 grandchildren; Celeste Stephens (Joe), Amber Day (David), Tyler Cagle, Clinton Cagle, Sara Booth (Adam), Aiden Newell, and Samantha Casada (Colton), 7 great grandchildren; Kara Coyle (Conner Slagle), Ian Casada, Wilder, Everleigh, and Tatum Day, Kinley and Lainey Stephens; 2 great-great grandchildren; Ivy and Oakley Slagle, and one on the way.  She is also survived by two brothers; Perry Parmley (Barb) and Dewey Parmley (Betty); along with a host of family and friends who will mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: one daughter Faye Stephenson and two brothers; Phillip Parmley and Obie Elso Parmley.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, between 5 pm – 8 pm, in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home and on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at Beavercreek Methodist Church (formerly known as Parnell Methodist Church) at 11 am until the funeral time at 12 pm. Burial will be at the Beavercreek Methodist Church Cemetery.
