Vanessa Kaye Hancock

Vanessa Kaye (Stonecipher) Hancock, born October 23, 1980 to Paul and Vivian Stonechipher of Monticello, KY. She departed this life Tuesday, July 14, 2026, reaching the age of 45 years.

She is survived by: the love of her life, Tracy Corder; her son, Corey (Jasmine) Hancock; her daughter, Carley (Colby Shelton) Hancock; her mom, Vivian Stonecipher; her brother, Brian (Janie) Stonecipher; her grandbabies, Elijah, River, and Ellie Mae; and her niece, Mia (Cody Morris) Stonecipher; and great nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Stonecipher.

Vanessa enjoyed jeep riding, playing on her tablet, and spoiling her grand babies. She enjoyed life to the fullness. She was always making people laugh and was a joy to be around.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 19, 2026, between 5 pm – 8 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 20, 2026, at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
