Trevia Viola Thomas was born August 30th, 1941 in Fayette County, Kentucky and departed this life Friday, December 6th, 2002, reaching the age of 61 years. She was the daughter of Letcher Sparks and Dolly Mae Meredith Sparks.

She is survived by her husband Larry G. Thomas, three children-Thomas Scott Workman of Lexington, Dennis Gordon Troxell and Viola Sue Anderson, both of Monticello, KY, and six grandchildren-Heather and Brian Anderson, Seth Troxell, Tiffany Morgan, Thomas Scott Workman, Jr. and Tyler Workman.

She is also survived by her father-Letcher Sparks of California, two brothers-Harry Sparks of Lexington, KY and Gordon Sparks of California and three sisters-Martha Foster and Grace Smedley, both of Monticello, KY and Nancy Sparks of Lexington, KY, along with several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her mother, one son-James Franklin Troxell,and one brother-Virgil Sparks.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Visitation: The family will receive friends after 4 PM on Sunday, December 8th in the chapel of the funeral home.
Funeral Service: The funeral service will be Monday, December 9th at 1 PM in the chapel of the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Anson Perkins officiating.
Interment: Burial will follow in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
