Tom R. Denney was born January 22, 1923 and departed this life Sunday, December 30, 2007 reaching the age of 84 years. He was the son of the late Marion Denney and Gertrude Ragan Denney.

He married Anna Holt and to this union two children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Anna Denney of Monticello, KY; one son, Barney (Sharon) Denney of Monticello, KY; three grandchildren, Melissa (Thomas) Woodcock, Chris and John Denney; and two great grandchildren, Zeth and Lauren Denney. He is also survived by one brother, Hack Denney of Monticello, KY; two sisters, Jane Jones and Mildred Ramsey both of Monticello, KY; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Marion and Gertrude (Ragan) Denney; one daughter, Wanda Ann Denney; four brothers, Roy, Jep, Don, and Earnest Denney; and three sisters, Bonnie Lyons, Mollie Bertram, and Georgia Baker.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, relative and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, January 2nd at 11 am
Interment: Elk Spring Cemetery
