Obituary
Tom Carrender was born November 5, 1957 and departed this life Friday, August 17, 2012 reaching the age of 54. He was the son of the late Ray and Georgia (Dishman) Carrender.
He is survived by: 2 daughters, Kipala Webb of Zebulon, GA and Brandy Reese of Hampton, GA; 4 grandchildren, Leah Kirchner, Caleb Webb, Chesny and Aubree Reese. He is also survived by: 2 brothers, Don Criswell and Danny Carrender; 3 sisters, Anita Flynn, Doris Allen, and Kim Johnson; and his beloved dog, Spot; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents, Ray and Georgie Carrender, he was preceded in death by: 1 brother, Marshall Criswell; and 1 sister, Linda Cook.
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 20, 2012 from 5 – 9 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at 11 am at the Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Drake officiating. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to:
