Thomas R. Floyd, II was born February 22, 1985, in Indianapolis, Indiana, and departed this life on August 13, 2021, at the age of 36 years old. He was the son of Thomas R. Floyd, Sr. and Janie Floyd-Sponseller.

He is survived by: his father, Thomas R. Floyd, Sr.; his mother, Janie Floyd-Sponseller; two sisters, Kristy (Russell) Gregory and Casey (Aaron) Fultz; three nephews, Cody Troxell, Malcolm Fultz, and Barry Fultz; two nieces, Katie Fultz and Serenity Fultz; and grandmother Joanna Swails.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Coy and Trecia (Davis) Floyd; and his grandfather, David Doughty.

Thomas gave his life to the Lord and was Baptized in 2001. He was in JROTC and a 2003 graduate of Wayne County High School.  Thomas loved people and was a people person, he was easy to talk to and fun to laugh with. He enjoyed living in the big city (like his Great-Papaw Swails) loved kittens and cats, music, movies, Kentucky Wildcats Basketball and Football and Pro Basketball.  He will be so very missed by his Family and Friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 20, 2021, between 11 am - 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Memorial services will be held Friday, August 20, 2021, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel.
