Thomas Christopher "Tom" Boston was born March 11, 1951 and departed this life Friday, March 15, 2013 reaching the age of 62. He was the son of the late Ola Jackson and Thelma (Lovell) Boston.

He is survived by: his wife, Bernice (Short) Boston; 2 sons, Joey (Beth) Boston and Charles "Cosby" Boston; 2 daughters, Tammy (James) Dyer and Kim Sharp; 7 grandchildren, Christopher (Yassmin) Boston, Taylor Jeanae Boston, Kayla (Coty) Walker, Kristi (Bryant) Young, T.J. Branham, Trevor Dyer, and Cody Boston; and 1 great grandchild, Wyatt Alan Walker. He is also survived by: his mother-in-law, Jessie Short; 4 brothers, Joe, Frank, Charles, and Dan Boston; and 5 sisters, Nell Coop, Betty Buckley, Amelia Sue Bassett, Julia Sims, and Carolyn Speer; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

In addition to his parents, Ola and Thelma Boston, he was preceded in death by: 1 son, Jeffrey Allen Boston; 2 brothers, Gilbert and Preston Boston; and 1 sister, Joyce Abbott.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 18th after 2 pm (CST) at the Norris-New Funeral Home in Burkesville, KY. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 19th from 5 – 9 pm (EST) in the chapel of the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 20th at 11 am at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Elk Spring Cemetery.
