Therman Pyles was born August 7, 1953 and departed this life Thursday, March 12, 2015 reaching the age of 61 years. He was the son of the late Claude and Leva "Levie" (McGinnis) Pyles.

He married Barbara Fulton and to this union four children were born.

He is survived by: his wife, Barbara Pyles; one son, Jeffrey Pyles; three daughters, Cynthia Pyles, Delilah Rains, Stehanie Stephens; 10 grandchildren, Justin Hicks, Cameron Hicks, Jacob Rains, Mikayla Hicks, Dylan Brumley, Chandler Brumley, Shaelynn Stephens, Olivia Stephens, Cody Pyles, DeeWana Pyles; and 2 great grandchildren Miley Hicks and Gracie Hicks. He is also survived by: three brothers, Claude Pyles, Jr., Tony Pyles, and Ronnie Pyles; and four sisters, Barbara Dishman, Betty Dishman, Margie Kennedy, and Darlene Hicks; along with a host of family and friends who mourn his passing.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 14, 2015 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 15, 2015 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Dishman Cemetery.
