Obituary
Thelma Irene Kinnett was born May 6, 1926 and departed this life Saturday, June 18, 2016 reaching the age of 90 years. She was the daughter of the late Robert "Bob" and Letty (Barnes) McFarland.
She married Robert Cecil Kinnett and to this union two children were born.
She is survived by: one son, Max Kinnett; one daughter, Barbara (Gary) Dabney; three grandchildren, Ryan Kinnett, Deanna Cooper, Brent Cooper; four great grandchildren, Michael Kinnett, Robert Kinnett, Simon Baker and Henry Baker. She is also survived by: one sister, Virginia Atwood; along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her parents, Bob and Letty McFarland, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Robert Kinnett; three brothers, Charles Alexander "C.A." McFarland, Melvin McFarland, and Tom McFarland; and one sister, Marie McFarland.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 23, 2016 after 9:30 am in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
